At Little Darling Ragdolls, your kitten’s safety and well-being remain our highest priority from the moment they leave our care until they arrive safely with their new family.

We understand that bringing a new Ragdoll home is an exciting experience, especially when your kitten is located outside your local area. For families throughout the United States, we work with families to arrange a safe and appropriate delivery option based on their location, the kitten’s age, weather conditions, and transportation availability.

Delivery Options

Depending on your location, we may arrange one of the following options:

Local Pickup
Families who are within a reasonable distance of our Arizona cattery are welcome to discuss arranging an appointment to pick up their kitten in person.

Ground Delivery
When practical and appropriate, ground transportation may be available for certain destinations. Transportation arrangements are discussed individually with each family.

Air Travel
For families located farther from Arizona, air transportation may be considered when it is appropriate for the kitten and permitted by the airline and applicable requirements. We carefully consider the kitten’s age, health, weather, and travel conditions before making arrangements.

Personal Delivery
Depending on availability and destination, personal or accompanied delivery may also be discussed.

Your Kitten’s Safety Comes First

We never treat kitten transportation like shipping an ordinary package.

Before any journey, we consider the kitten’s health, age, temperament, destination, weather, transportation conditions, and applicable airline or transportation requirements.

If conditions are unsuitable for safe travel, we may recommend postponing transportation until conditions improve.

Our priority is always the welfare of the kitten—not simply getting the kitten to its destination as quickly as possible.

Delivery Within the USA

We welcome families from across the United States and can discuss delivery arrangements for most U.S. destinations.

Because transportation costs and requirements vary by destination, delivery fees are not automatically included in the kitten’s purchase price unless specifically stated in your agreement.

Before finalizing your kitten’s arrangements, we will provide the applicable transportation information and estimated costs based on your location.

Preparing for Your Kitten’s Journey

Before your kitten leaves our care, we make sure the necessary preparations have been completed according to our veterinary recommendations and the requirements applicable to the chosen transportation method.

Families will receive information regarding their kitten’s:

• Veterinary care
• Vaccination records
• Health information
• Feeding routine
• Care instructions
• Transportation arrangements
• Expected arrival details

We encourage every family to prepare a quiet, comfortable space at home before their kitten arrives.

Weather Considerations

Arizona and other parts of the United States can experience significant temperature differences throughout the year.

Extreme heat, extreme cold, severe storms, or other unsafe travel conditions may affect transportation arrangements.

When weather creates a potential risk to a kitten’s well-being, we reserve the right to delay transportation until appropriate conditions are available.

A short delay is always preferable to putting a kitten at unnecessary risk.

Delivery Communication

We believe communication is an important part of the experience.

Once transportation arrangements have been confirmed, we will provide the family with the available delivery information, including the expected travel schedule and arrival details.

We encourage families to remain available around the expected arrival time so they can receive their kitten promptly and provide a calm environment for their first few hours at home.

What Happens When Your Kitten Arrives?

Your kitten may need some quiet time to rest and become familiar with their new surroundings after traveling.

We recommend preparing:

• A comfortable sleeping area
• Fresh water
• Appropriate kitten food
• A clean litter box
• Safe toys
• A quiet space away from excessive noise

It is completely normal for a kitten to need a little time to adjust after leaving a familiar environment and meeting their new family.

Transportation Costs

Transportation costs depend on several factors, including:

• Destination
• Distance
• Transportation method
• Airline or carrier requirements
• Weather and seasonal conditions
• Special transportation arrangements
• Additional travel-related services

Any applicable delivery or transportation fees will be discussed with the family before arrangements are finalized.

Changes & Delays

Transportation schedules can occasionally change because of weather, airline restrictions, transportation availability, or circumstances outside our control.

If a delay occurs, we will communicate with the family and work toward an alternative arrangement that prioritizes the kitten’s safety.

We appreciate your patience and understanding when circumstances require a schedule change.
