About Us
We want our kittens to be more than beautiful. We want them to become wonderful family companions.
Our Story
Little Darling Ragdolls
Welcome to Little Darling Ragdolls, a small, family-focused Ragdoll cattery dedicated to raising beautiful, affectionate, and well-socialized kittens in a loving home environment.
Raising Ragdolls With Love, Purpose & Care
For us, breeding Ragdolls is much more than producing beautiful kittens. It is about caring for each cat as an individual, making thoughtful breeding decisions, and giving every kitten the best possible foundation for a happy life with their future family.
We believe the early weeks of a kitten’s life matter enormously. Our kittens are raised with daily human interaction, gentle handling, play, affection, and the normal sounds and activities of a home. Our goal is to help each kitten develop into a confident, loving companion who can comfortably transition into family life.
The Goal
Our Love for the Ragdoll Breed
We fell in love with Ragdolls because of their remarkable combination of beauty and personality. Their striking blue eyes, soft semi-long coats, gentle nature, and affectionate personalities make them truly special companions.
Ragdolls are known for being easygoing and affectionate, and many enjoy spending time with their people and other household pets.
But beautiful looks are only one part of what makes a great Ragdoll.
We care just as much about temperament, health, socialization, structure, and the individual personality of every kitten we raise.
Health. Temperament. Love.
Our Approach to Breeding
We carefully consider health, temperament, pedigree, structure, and the overall well-being of our breeding cats before planning a litter. We believe every pairing should have a purpose and should contribute positively to the future of the breed.
We do not believe in raising kittens simply to meet demand. Our focus is on quality, careful planning, and giving our cats the attention and care they deserve.
Raised in Our Home
Health Comes First
Our breeding cats receive appropriate veterinary care and health screening, and we pay particular attention to hereditary conditions relevant to the Ragdoll breed. Ragdolls have a recognized DNA test for the breed-associated HCM mutation, and responsible breeders are encouraged to test breeding cats.
Kittens receive age-appropriate veterinary care before joining their new families. Depending on the kitten and our veterinary recommendations, this may include examinations, vaccinations, deworming, and other appropriate preventive care.
We provide families with the health and veterinary information available for their kitten so they can continue providing excellent care after going home.
Important: Our exact health testing, vaccination schedule, guarantees, and veterinary procedures are provided in our kitten contract and should be reviewed with each prospective family.
Finding the Right Forever Home
Our Commitment to Our Families
When a kitten leaves Little Darling Ragdolls, our relationship does not have to end at the front door.
We want our families to feel comfortable asking questions about feeding, grooming, behavior, adjustment, and general care as their kitten grows.
Bringing home a new kitten is exciting, but it also comes with responsibility. We believe good breeders should educate their families and remain available as a resource.
We encourage our families to maintain regular veterinary care and to contact us whenever they have questions about their Ragdoll.
